Our Church Family

Welcome to Sandringham Uniting Church!

Our church was opened in 1929 with the planting of the beautiful magnolia tree in the driveway.  The many colourful stained glass windows invite peaceful reflection and memories of the life-giving stories of God’s love, Christian faith and faith-filled service.

As a congregation, we have many years of faithful living and stories to share.  We have a vision for our future, in God’s care and inspiration;  come and add your stories to ours.

We have relationships with the local Regis Aged Care and lead worship there on a regular basis.   We have strong links with other churches in the Bayside area.  Our members belong to other hobby and interest groups in our area – so you will find we are a really well connected congregation.

We are well known in our local community for our commitment to social justice.  We support many different groups, such as Amnesty International, Medicin Sans Frontiere, Friends of Lilaea (East Timor), Share, Victorian Foodbank, and Biggest Morning Tea.

The church tower underwent restoration in the early part of 2019 and in 2020, the church building underwent a major property redevelopment.

The love of Jesus holds us together – please feel free to join us, the circle is open for you.
